LVI SYSTEMS receives a new order from GEA Energietechnik for a thermal power plant in IRAQI KURDISTAN.

These orders for units identical to those delivered in June 2013 show that the motivation and professionalism of the LVI SYSTEMS teams have won the confidence of GEA Energietechnik. We look forward to developing our relationship with GEA Energietechnik and other German companies in the future.

After a first successful project, LVI SYSTEMS is strengthening its presence in IRAQI KURDISTAN by supplying new industrial vacuum equipment to GEA Energietechnik.

Mr David JAY, who has been responsible for sizing the equipment offered by LVI SYSTEMS for nearly ten years, has taken over from Mr Joseph FAURE as Sales Director. We wish him every success in his new role.

LVI SYSTEMS is supplying two vacuum units to GEA Energietechnik in Germany for a thermal power plant in IRAQI KURDISTAN. With a capacity of 4,100 M3/h of gas sucked in at 45 mBar abs, these vacuum units are among the largest and most sophisticated built by LVI SYSTEMS for use in thermal power plants.

After two years of hard work, LVI SYSTEMS has won the confidence of GEA Energietechnik, a major German group active in many sectors of industry, particularly energy.

LVI SYSTEMS wins an order for two turbine condenser evacuation units from a major German group, GEA.

In January 2009, LVI SYSTEMS received an order for a vacuum installation to degas steel in the liquid phase. Delivery, scheduled for December 2009, was completed on schedule.

The facility, located in central France, was inaugurated on 3 February 2010 at Arcelor Mittal's industrial site in Le Creusot in the presence of local managers and authorities.

This installation was supplied on a turnkey basis. It sucks in 1,400,000 m3/h at 0.1 mbar abs. LVI SYSTEMS also carried out all the ancillary work, such as:

• The support structure
• Vacuum tank, lid and accessories.
• The vacuum vessel/vacuum generator link and its innovative connection system
• The distribution of cooling water vapour (including the pump room) and nitrogen
• Control room equipment: power cabinet, control and supervision cabinet
